San Gimignano is located in Italy in the region of Tuscany and since 1990 is considered by UNESCO as cultural heritage of mankind. San Gimignano is a small walled village of medieval origin, erected atop the hills of Tuscany. This town is famous mainly for its medieval architecture especially its towers. San Gimignano is located about 35 minutes by car to the Northwest of the city of Siena and close to the same distance southwest of the city of Florence.
